I like to walk a fine line between logic and creativity. I look at complex problems and find unique yet practical solutions. I take that same mindset into my day-to-day, never shying away from the weird but always remaining professional and arriving at realistic yet unexpected answers. I love to collaborate and build on each others ideas. I am also a full-time, self-taught learner. If I run into a problem, I will relentlessly work to learn how to solve it. That jar of peanut butter WILL be opened.
I am a Missouri native and will occasionally say “y’all”. I attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL where I discovered my passion for design. I graduated in 2013 with my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and minors in both Studio Art and Public Relations and Advertising.
After undergrad, I worked at a small advertising agency, in Mobile, AL. I then packed up and moved to NYC to attend Pratt Institute’s Communication Design MFA program where I honed my design skills and conducted an immersive thesis on humor and how to use it effectively in design. After graduation, I received a position at Edelman PR specializing in video editing and motion graphics. I then evolved that experience into being a creative director with an in-depth knowledge of all things video and social.
I am currently living in the Los Angeles area. In my free time I continue to spark my creative ambition as well as play beach volleyball at the highest level I can.
