To me, design is a balance of logic and creativity. I think crazy and speculatively. I can look at complex problems and find unique yet practical solutions. I am fun and energetic, slightly weird, but very professional. I play nice with others and love to collaborate. I can sometimes follow my own direction and hear what I want to hear, but that always allows me to look at problems through a different lens to then find the right solution. My biggest asset is being a full-time and self-taught learner. If I run into a problem, I will relentlessly work to learn how to solve it.

I was born and raised in Missouri. After high school, I went to Missouri State University West Plains where I played volleyball and graduated with my Associates in General Studies with Honors. While there, I discovered my attraction towards computer graphics. I then attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL where that attraction turned into a passion toward design. I graduated in 2013 with my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and minors in both Studio Art and Public Relations and Advertising.

After undergrad, I worked at a small advertising agency, in Mobile, AL, before getting accepted into the Communications Design Graduate program at Pratt Institute. While attending Pratt, I grew as a designer and a thinker. After graduating, I received a position at Edelman PR specializing in video editing and motion graphics and I have evolved that experience into being creative director with with an in-depth knowledge of all things video.

Now, I am currently living in New York City area, continuing to spark my creative ambition, and playing beach volleyball as much as I can.
